Minister Farrakhan Has Defended the Black Community; Will Black People Return the Favor?

The tired and trite 1980’s era politics or the Farrakhan Litmus Test has appeared again on the national political landscape.  This highly disrespectful political manuever that -more than anything else- shows the breadth and scope of Jewish paternalism was even lampooned on the celebrated comedy sketch show “In Living Color.”  There, in an epic scketch, comedian Damon Wayans plays the popular character ‘Homie the Clown’ as he pleads for favor by reminding his benefactor that he would “repudiate Farrakhan.”

All of this begs a fundamental question.  If Minister Farrakhan has defended the Black community and especially Black leadership; shouldn’t the favor be returned to our beloved Minister?  Or maybe, its like Grandma used to say, “Baby, that would be too much like right.”  This short article takes a look at the history of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan as the bold and uncompromising defender of the Black community.  It should serve as a reminder to us that we all owe a debt of gratitude and solidarity to a man who has defended us even when it appeared that we were indefensible.  Help the Defending Farrakhan campaign by reading it and spreading it far and wide.
